party booking terms and conditions

Our party booking terms and conditions are as follows:

Booking

  • We require a £30 deposit to secure the booking. This should be paid within 2 weeks of booking the party either by cash or cheque.
  • Deposit is non refundable although special circumstances will be taken into consideration.
  • We will send you a booking form on which party details are confirmed and signed for by you.
  • We will telephone you and confirm party details in the week before the party to confirm final arrangements and confirm total party guests and any special offers booked.
  • We will supply party invitations free of charge.

Payment

  • Our minimum party charges are binding. If the total amount of girls at the party is below the minimum (for example, if a guest does not turn up) you will still be charged minimum fee.
  • Minimum party girls applicable from 19/04/2007
  • Party balance is payable on the day of the party and can be paid by cash or cheque ( made out to Makeover Mates please).

Party times

  • We are flexible with the start times of our parties and will do all we can to suit your needs.
  • We always arrive at your house or venue at the discussed time and with sufficient time to set up our equipment.
  • Parties will last between 1 1/2 - 2 hours, until each girl has had the opportunity to have each treatment and make her craft item* (*where applicable).

Special offers

  • Our 'sisters are free' offer applies when there are a minimum amount of paying girls at the party.
  • Up to 2 sisters are free.
  • Additional special offers only apply within timescales stated as and when they are running.

Food supplies

  • All food and drink provided by the Makeover Mates are of good quality (chocolate fountain, pink cocktails and birthday cake), fully labelled and bought fresh on the day of the party where possible.
  • Pink Cocktails are made from fresh fruit juice and lemonade and garnished with fresh fruit.

Allergies

  • All cosmetics and supplies used by Makeover Mates are of good quality and will not have been tested on animals.
  • It is the responsibility of each individual child's parent / guardian to inform us if their child has an allergy. There is a note on our invitations (supplied free of charge) to state this.
  • We also draw attention to this on our marketing material.

Data protection

  • All information held by Makeover Mates on individual customers or enquirers will NEVER be passed on or sold to a third party.
  • Information is held in our office space in a locked filing cabinet and on a password protected computer programme.
  • We never use information or pictures of children without permission.

Copywrite

  • All pictures are the property of Makeover Mates.
  • No pictures owned by Makeover Mates, including pictures of party girls and guests and Makeover Mates logo, may be replicated without permission.

Party kits

  • Our party kits - sold from our online shop found at www.makeovermates.com - have thier own set of terms and conditions and Makeover Mates comply with distance selling regulatuins.

Legal

  • The Makeover Mates each hold police checks, updated annually.
  • The Makeover Mates hold Public Liability Insurance
  • Certificates are available for viewing on request.
